Parity magazine is Council to Homeless Persons’ (CHP) national publication, examining homelessness from personal, local, social, national and global perspectives.

Each edition of Parity is devoted to the examination and discussion of a specific theme or set of issues connected to homelessness.

Hope Street, a co-sponsor of the April 2022 Homelessness and Young People: Support During Troubled Times edition, has contributed a number of articles in this issue. This is the first edition to particularly focus on best practice in providing support to young people in the context of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on them, on homelessness and on service providers and provision. Young people and young families have been significantly disadvantaged by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
