We continue to build our partnerships with our key local government areas including service development in conjunction with Merri-bek City Council (formerly Moreland City Council). Their Youth Services have been strong supporters of several initiatives:

• Youth Place 3056: Supporting Homeless Youth
• Justice for Homeless Youth
• Skills for Life 101
• Hope Street Gold Stars performance and CD at the RDNS Where the Heart Is... Community Festival 2015

Another good example of the council and community providing support for vulnerable young people is the Merri-bek City Council libraries who have welcomed Hope Street clients in our Youth Reconciliation program, offering that all-important safe space for young people to find warmth and comfort.
