Microsoft Partner of the Year 2022

Donna Bennett, Hope Street Youth and Family Services CEO, is thrilled that our partnership with FiveP, investing in technology advancing end user efficiency for the delivery of essential services to vulnerable homeless young people and young families, has been recognised in this international nomination.

David Dennis, Managing Director at FiveP Australia, said:

I’m excited to share the news that once again FiveP have been named a Finalist in the Microsoft Partner of the Year for 2022. FiveP was recognised for our work with Hope Street Youth and Family Services, an organisation dedicated to providing stability for at-risk young people and young families in the category of Modern Workplace for Frontline Workers.

Hope Street is one of the longest-running youth homelessness services in Victoria Australia, providing a range of services to help their clients find safety, build emotional resilience, and develop sustained connections in their communities. Our solution Tabei Resource Centre helps provide Hope Street’s frontline staff with the information that they need, wherever and however they do their incredibly important work out in the community.

Nowhere else in the workforce are the events of recent years more felt than for frontline staff. Within their work lives there are added new complexities and constant change every day. We feel it is now more important than ever to address how to effectively support these critical members of our workforces – that are often left behind from a technology perspective.

I am incredibly proud of our team, and the solutions that they have created to address some of these challenges, to be recognised in this way. And above all grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing organisation – my sincere thanks goes out to Donna Bennett and her whole team at Hope Street Youth and Family Services.

Hope to Home in Whittlesea

FEATURED PILOT PROGRAM: Hope to Home in Whittlesea

Many young people face obstacles when trying to secure stable accommodation due to no rental history, lack of affordable housing, and no employment to sustain rental leases.  The Hope to Home in Whittlesea pilot program will address these issues by:

  • Facilitating the transition of up to 30 young people (and their children) from the Hope Street in Whittlesea program or Whittlesea Housing into 1 and 2 bedroom units
  • Providing case management once they secure private rental of these units
  • Helping these young people maintain their tenancy, employment, education and training, and community connections
  • Engaging the support of community stakeholders including local businesses to address barriers contributing to youth homelessness

Please contact us if you would like to become a partner and support at risk young people and young families.
